The Original Shed Geek - Phil Carselowey
On today's episode we had a chance to sit down with Phil Carselowey of Newfound Rentals. We were able to discuss Phil being in RTO for more than 10 years, and how he was the original "Shed Geek." Let not your heart be troubled, we even discussed doughnuts, dad jokes, and life on the road. Phil even challenges us to a good doughnut dad joke.
The episode also includes the roots of Phil's entrance into the RTO, and shed world in general. Discussion about partnership, and how they can be used to cover each other's strengths and weaknesses. He talks about what to expect over the next few years and the rapid changes facing the shed industry.
Phil and the Geeks describe transparency and what that means in the shed industry. Generational shed businesses, and opportunities that exist to work together in this thriving shed life. We discuss family, friends, and everything between the studs. (And I don't mean 2x4's). Lot's of shout-outs in this episode to friends in the industry so be sure to tune in and watch competitors in a win/win dialogue.
Meet the Geeks at this years Shed Builder Expo in Grand Rapids, MI! We will have a booth with our equipment setup for interviews or just to get a potential picture with the geeks.
